Miss Kia Kenisha Greenfield
and Mr. J. Chance Williams take pleasure in announcing their engagement.Kia is originally from Hampton and graduated from Phoebus High School in 1994. She then went on to attend Mary Washington College. Graduating in 1998 with her Bachelor’s degree she then attended Christopher Newport University and in 2000 recieved her Master’s Degree in Psychology. She is presently employed at US Office of Personnel Management as a Personnel Research Psychologist.

Chance is originally from Columbus, GAand graduated from Columbus High School in 1997. Chance is presently a Seargent in the US Army and stationed at Fort Eustis, VA as a Transportation NCO.

The couple have been dating since Superbowl Weekend, 2000, and he popped the question (on one knee!) at the Gazebo at Fort Monroe, after attending a summer Concert of the VA Symphony at historic Yorktown! The bride’s parents are the late Steven L. and Renee Escoffery Johnson of Hampton VA, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Tony and Lydia Williams of Columbus, GA.

Their wedding ceremony will be held in Fort Monroe, Virginia in September of 2002.
